Essence is both a web designer and web developer, granting her the ability to transform visual design concepts into optimally functional web pages. Essence attained her BFA at NYU where she studied photography, fine arts and digital art. Since graduating she’s become fluent in working within multiple mediums such as graphic design, user experience design, email design and packaging design. 

Essence is passionate about designing inclusively—from using color combinations those with visual impairment can enjoy to making sure the functionalities of her websites can be accessed by those using assistive technologies. Accessibility & SEO go hand-in-hand, and Essence actively continues her education in both fields. 

With nine years—and growing—of digital marketing experience ranging from photography to social media copywriting, Essence’s expertise designing, hand-coding, managing, and optimizing responsive websites, and making them accessible, allow her to tailor online solutions to meet her client’s goals as well as advise on creative decisions from a holistic perspective.
